Orange County Rescue Mission received a donation from the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation to address food insecurity in Orange County. The donation is part of Enterprise’s Fill Your Tank program, which launched in October 2016 to mark Enterprises’s 60th anniversary by providing $60 million to fight hunger globally.

In presenting the donation, Zechariah Jenkins and Fred Abdelnour of Enterprise Holdings in Southern California said, “We are proud to support Orange County Rescue Mission in its fight against hunger in Orange County. At Enterprise, we are committed to making a real difference in local communities.”

In addition, over 40 management and sales staff from local Enterprise Rent-A-Car teams (prior to the stay-at-home order) conducted a hygiene needs donation drive and volunteered throughout our Village of Hope campus. One of Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s unique contributions to Village of Hope was a free but very valuable training on workplace skills, provided to the homeless men and women living here.

One volunteer commented, “Overall I learned so much, and volunteering at the Rescue Mission was so humbling. I can’t wait to do it again!”

Thank you Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation for your generous donation! We could not do the work we do without the support of donors like you.
