I am currently the Home Coordinator for the Rip Tide Boys home. In my role, I provide a loving and stable home environment for teens in crisis. 

 

How long have you worked at OCRM?

 

1/15/25 will be three years.

 

What is your favorite thing about working at OCRM?

 

I enjoy working amongst other believers in Jesus who are invested in making transformational changes in the lives of others.

 

What do you find most rewarding about your work?

 

Realizing my contributions are making a restorative impact on the lives of my students and their families. 

 

What is your favorite/most helpful employee benefit?

 
My favorite benefit is that I can express my unwavering faith in Jesus Christ every day I show up to work.

  • Parent and child enrichment center K-12 Manager
    Manage all educational, recreational, and specific program activities for K-12 children at the Village of Hope. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and overseeing all K-12 programs, such as tutoring programs and the annual Summer to Remember initiative.
  • Manager - Data and Analytics
    Performing at a high level of autonomy, the Manager – Data and Analytics performs analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data from systems used by all Rescue Mission entities. Requires the ability and technical knowledge to analyze and filter data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct code problems and using statistical tools to identify, research, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction.
  • Temporary Shelter Site Manager
    The Temporary Shelter Site Manager will be responsible for the overall management and administration of Temporary Shelter facilities, staff, clients, volunteers and programs. This position works closely with vendors and community support services to support Temporary Shelter’s needs and the needs of our clients.
  • Donor Relations Officer - Mid-Level Gift Officer
    The Donor Relations Manager – Mid-Level Gift Officer’s main job function and purpose is to serve a caseload of donors by initiating, building and maintaining dynamic, reciprocal relationships with individuals, couples, and families who partner financially with OC Rescue Mission.
  • Donor Relations Manager - Major Gift Officer
    The Donor Relations Manager solicits, cultivates, and stewards donor relationships based on major gift strategy of building 1:1 relationships with the goal of moving donors to a higher level of engagement and an increase in major gifts year over year.
  • Educator/Vocational Program Coordinator
    The Educator/Vocational Program Coordinator supports the expansion of the OCRM High School Diploma Program by providing educational counseling, assistance, and academic support to the students at the Rescue Mission in effort to meet the needs and outcomes of completing high school credits and passing the Hi-SET equivalency exam.
  • HR Assistant
    The HR Assistant assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources functions and duties. The HR Assistant carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: departmental development, HRIS, employee relations, benefits, compensation, organization development, and employment.
  • Outreach Care Coordinator
    The Outreach Care Coordinator oversees all OCRM homeless outreach and prevention functions including Chili Van, Jail Outreach, Detox and Recovery Home Outreach and Food Box programs.  Also oversee referrals to our Admissions Department for placement within OCRM programs.
  • Front Desk Services Representative - Part Time
    This position is responsible for answering the front desk phone, greeting visitors, checking students in and out, and handling all tasks related to the front desk.
  • Overnight Safety & Security Specialist
    The Rescue Mission is looking for part-time assistance (Friday OR Saturday overnights from 10:00pm-6:30am & Sunday overnights from 10:00pm-2:30am) with our Safety & Security team at the Village of Hope. The Overnight Safety & Security Specialist is responsible for answering the front desk phone, greeting visitors, checking students in and out, and handling all tasks related to the front desk, including nightly patrols and monitoring of security camera activity.
