Family-Friendly Saturday Morning Volunteer Opportunities at Orange County Rescue Mission

RSVP

Make a difference in a morning with Orange County Rescue Mission! Come and serve with us on a Saturday morning and learn how together, we can change lives and help restore the hope of our homeless neighbors. Every act of kindness, big and small, makes a difference.

When: 1st or 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:00am-12:00noon

Where: Village of Hope campus

Descriptions of Volunteer Service


 

1st Saturday of the month – Chili Van Outreach

Meet at the Village of Hope to help load up our Chili Vans. Then caravan with the Chili Van to a local outreach location where we will minister the love of Jesus Christ to the homeless with delicious food and information about our services. More details will be provided on the day of service.

 

3rd Saturday of the month –  Village of Hope campus

Come join us with a variety of different service opportunities at the Village of Hope: food box assembly, hygiene kit assembly, prepping and serving food in our kitchen, assisting with landscaping, a cleaning project around campus, etc.

 

Helpful Tips


RSVP to stay informed on updates for this event. Details may change.

Dress code: Preferably modest shorts or pants, modest shirt and closed toe shoes.

Minimum age requirements:

  • Chili Van – No age limit, families are welcome. All youth under 16 years of age must have adult supervision.
  • Village of Hope campus – Children 10 years of age and up are welcome to attend. All youth under 16 years of age must have adult supervision.
