The Strong Beginnings program has been designed to provide a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary response to the needs of women escaping human trafficking. Our response avoids re-traumatization and provides trauma-informed care through our victim-centered approach, using the internationally recognized 12 Core Functions & Competencies.
Our comprehensive, faith-based program provides: emergency shelter, transitional housing, care coordination, case management, advocacy services, assistance with family reunification, mental health assistance, legal assistance, food, clothing, educational assistance, high school diploma program, career training & development, counseling, primary healthcare and dental services, all at no cost to the victim.
We believe in collaboration and providing a continuum of care. We partner with and accept referrals from: Lives Worth Saving, Trinity Law School, Hurtt Family Health Clinics, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Orange County District Attorney, County of Orange, and local law enforcement agencies.
