Isaac and Kaley

For four years, their family was homeless. Shelters and relatives would often take in Kaley and their son, but not Isaac.

When Kaley and Isaac met, both their lives were already in a downward spiral.

Isaac, who was heavily addicted to marijuana, had lost his family apartment and was hotel hopping with his mom and sister. Kaley had grown up with absent, addicted parents. Her own drug addiction began when she was just 12 years old.

By the time they had their son, Isaac and Kaley were in desperate need of a breakthrough.

For four years, their family was homeless. Shelters and relatives would often take in Kaley and their son, but not Isaac. They desperately wanted their family to be together.

The couple first heard about the Rescue Mission from Isaac’s mother, who was already living here, rebuilding her life.

Because of YOU, Isaac, Kaley, and their son were able to come to Village of Hope and finally begin a new life.

Kaley recalls, “Days before we moved in, we’d run out of money and didn’t know how we were going to feed our son. We finally found a place to build a future for our family.”

Now for the first time, Kaley and Isaac are able to fully cherish the joys of being parents. Their son is able to experience the security of a stable home. He told his mom, “Thank you for giving me a home.”

Without the Rescue Mission — and without YOUR generosity — none of this would be possible.

Today, their family is full of hope with goals and dreams for the future. They also celebrated a family baptism, marking this chapter in their lives as a season of miracle transformation.

Kaley says, “I now have a relationship with Jesus Christ and can give my son something I didn’t have as a child.”

Your gifts and prayers are changing futures and healing family histories.

Your generosity toward Kaley and Isaac is creating a ripple effect in our community. Every story of transformation like theirs encourages our neighbors who are still struggling with homelessness and shows that they can have a second chance to change their lives.
