The Orange County Rescue Mission, a faith-based nonprofit, is currently searching for a Volunteer Resources Manager to join our ministry team in Tustin, CA. Position Summary: Oversees the coordination, plans and management or Rescue Mission volunteer resources and building of relationships through the creation of new and volunteer-related opportunities and events
- Assist in building relationships with current and potential donors and volunteers and work with ministry leadership to grow relationships and financial assistance to support our mission and values
- Works collaboratively with and in support of volunteers, development staff, and other ministry staff to cultivate relationships internally and externally.
- Arranges and conducts private/group tours of RM facilities when appropriate.
- Ensure that all volunteer screening processes are followed and volunteers are cleared to perform volunteer services on multiple campuses
- Update and execute initiates and directors per the Volunteer Resources Strategic Plan
- Support ministry leadership as needed
- Communicate in a clear and concise manner with all volunteers, volunteer group leader, Rescue Mission staff

Position is primarily first shift, however may require work beyond the normal hours and on weekends/holidays, as typical operations runs 24×7. The position requires work in a busy, open area office where the Special Events Coordinator will spend long hours sitting and using office and computer equipment which requires attention to detail and high levels of accuracy. This position may also require some lifting of supplies and materials, bending, kneeling, loud noise, stair climbing, and variable climates from time to time.
