Orange County Generosity-

January 8, 2015

Donor

As many of you know, we experienced an urgent short fall during the critical time of the holiday season. As we are currently housing more children than ever before and continue to expect more homeless men, women and children to call on us for help during the colder winter months, we needed to gather essential resources in order to serve those in need.

As I notice needs in our community, my goal is to find solutions to better serve those disenfranchised neighbors calling Orange County home. As the Rescue Mission continues to expand its network of services, it never ceases to amaze me where help and resources pour in from. There are entirely too many people to thank by name, but here are a few generous givers that made a huge dent in our shortfall in 2014.

Young Lee, from Flame Broiler, paid us a generous visit in December bringing with him a gift that provided resources for us to continue our service to hundreds of homeless families in addition to the hope that our mission is all of Orange County’s mission. We are all in this together with the vision of serving the least, the last and the lost of our community.

In addition to several check presentations, we were thrilled to receive this gift from our friendsĀ The Lord’s of Chaos Motorcycle Club.

The winter season is still upon us and we have a long stretch ahead to continue to serve those in need. I am so grateful to all of our partners, new and reoccurring givers who have pitched in to make our mission possible.
