Pacific Symphony Gives Music to the Mission

SHARE

The Pacific Symphony provides many opportunities throughout the year for our students to be exposed to the art and beauty of music and performance, something they would not normally have access to. We are grateful to the Pacific Symphony for partnering with us and bringing joy and beauty through music to the least, last, and lost of our community.

Because of our wonderful partnership with the Pacific Symphony, over 40 of our students were able to enjoy a summer concert at Irvine Meadows Amphitheater this past Saturday. The evening featured dinner, goody bags and a night under the stars watching Indiana Jones “Raiders of the Lost Ark” while the Symphony performed the score live to the full-length film.

For most of our students, this was a one-of-a-kind experience! They were filled with awe as the movie came to a close and many exclaimed that they could not believe the symphony was performing live the entire time. They said that the music was smooth and effortless and matched the film perfectly.
