Orange County Rescue Mission in the Epoch Times

SHARE

I had the opportunity to talk with Epoch Times Southern California reporter, Jamie Joseph, about our concerns for the older homeless population, including veterans. These men and women are especially vulnerable to being infected with the novel coronavirus. And we are making considerations for “our spaces and what we could do to assist them.”

But it is important for our readers to know that we are not deterred in our mission during this crisis. The opportunities to connect with those who are “seeking to get off the streets” are challenged because we are practicing social distancing. But our purpose to provide real solutions for those homeless people who are ready to change their lives remains the same.
