I could not have imagined a better birthday celebration myself.

Surprised by over 350 guests, 200 of which are homeless men, women and children who have been rescued off the streets. There could not be a better wish for me to blow out 50 candles to.

Reflecting on celebrating 50 years of life and 36 years of service to the homeless of Orange County, I am overwhelmed and grateful for the love and support from so many friends and loved ones and I can’t help but feel like this is just the beginning.

I have only seen the beginning of God’s favor and provision for the least, the last and the lost of our community and I am all the more attentive to where God would use me in his service for the Rescue Mission and this great place we get to call home in Orange County.
