On August 15th we celebrated the graduation and completion of our student residents who participated in our Road to Success: A Job Readiness Workshop. This workshop is a week long intensive seminar that prepares our upper-level students for the job-search phase of our program as they seek employment and ultimately self-sufficiency in working toward graduation from the Rescue Mission program.
Five weeks later I am excited to announce that seven out of our eight active job seekers have now obtained employment!
Each of these students are filling positions as customer service representatives, receptionists, drivers and more with companies such as Western Resources Inc., Auto Bytel and Alignmed.
Please congratulate and continue to pray for our students who are working. Praise God and thank you for playing your part in assisting our students to self-sufficiency!
